Making – August 2, 2016

IMG_5225Down to brass tacks, so to speak.  What am I making?

Bugle beads are a type of seed bead that I love the look of but really haven’t used a lot.  So I am working on ways of how to make things out of them.  In previous blogs, I have mentioned the book Ancient Worlds Modern Beads.  I love this book as it combines techniques I love to use into oldy world designs.  I use it for inspiration, a lot.  That is true for today’s project.

In the book, there is a picot edging.  But I think in these colors, I prefer a straight edge.
